Hockey Team Volunteer

During my practicum I had the opportunity to help out with the varsity boys hockey team. The team was coached by the schools history teacher as well as two community volunteers. Unfortunately the team didn't do very well but my experience with the team was excellent nevertheless, and I learned a lot more about hockey and coaching a team. This experience has taught me much about managing a team of teenage boys, which can be a great challenge. I hope to use this knowledge in the future as I hope to be able to coach high school hockey teams during my career as a teacher.
