Hello, my name is Daniel Abdelmassih, I am a Green Industries Certified teacher with additional qualifications in Tech Design and Co-op. I am 30 years old and was born and raised in the GTA. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors; hiking, camping and exploring. I have a passion for nature and all things plant related, which is why I am a Green Industries teacher. I also have interests in construction and Automotive and plan on acquiring additional qualifications to teach those branches of Technological Education as well.

     Before starting this journey to become a teacher, I went to Humber college for their Sustainable Energy and Building Technology program. I really enjoyed this program as it combined all of my interests together. After graduating I worked a few different jobs in the Green Industries. I worked as a Green Roof Technician, Greenhouse Receiver for about a year, and a Landscaping Crew Leader for 4 years.

     These jobs have allowed me to use many of the skills I have learned as well as teach me new ones. Now I am excited to be able to teach these skills to others and start a new career as a teacher.
