These certificates are Health and Safety, CPR, First Aid, and WHMIS. The Worker Health and Safety Awareness Certificate I received after completing the 4 step module provided by the Ministry of Labour. The CPR Certificate I received after completing a 6 hour training course and the First Aid after a 16 hour course. These certifications have helped build my awareness of health, safety, first aid and WHMIS in the workplace. I plan to incorporate this knowledge into my Green Industries classroom in as many ways as possible because safety is one of the most important parts of working in a shop and in the trades.
